Welcome! My name is Meg Appleton, and I’m currently a second grade teacher at a Chevy Chase school in MCPS. I have been teaching for 8 years and have been in MCPS for 3 years. I graduated from Villanova University with a B.A. in Psychology and Cognitive Science. Wanting to pursue my passion of education and working with children, I earned my dual Masters of Teaching degrees in Elementary and Special Education from the University of Virginia.
Raised in Potomac, MD, it’s great being back in the area. In my free time I love to travel, read, and go on walks with my husband, Dan, and dog, Chloe!
